
Speaking of the unexpected
April 27, 2010When I started this lamp, I was just thinking of the light bouncing off the inside and shining through the holes in the hanging disks.
So I was unprepared for what happened when I first plugged it in.
As you can see, the pattern it casts is really something.
It’s discoveries like this–surprises–that are the most fun about working with light. I can never quite anticipate how it’s going to behave. What’s better than that?
